Park City--Yesterday at 4:15 p.m., Park City High School students Devin Boyle and Melody Roguschka were involved in a side-by-side collision driving home from school. According to Witnesses, Boyle attempted a lane change into the left lane without seeing Melody's 2001 white Outback Subaru. The student and her little sister Molly Roguschka, who was in the car, were then bumped into the median, back into Boyle's car. Melody Roguschka's car proceeded to roll twice off to the right side of the road where it hit the back end of a stationary cop car.
About the crash, Molly Roguschka said, "All I remember is hearing Mel scream when we rolled. But then I was okay."
Melody's car was totaled, and memebers of the Park City Fire Department had to use a saw in order to get the two sisters out through the wind-shield. Luckily, no one was hurt.
Friend and fellow student Tana Peterson arrived on the scene of the accident later said, "When I saw the car on its side, I was so scared, but Mel had already called me beforehand so I knew she was okay."
When asked how she was feeling Melody Rogushka said, "My neck is a little sore, and my back is bruised, but everyone is ok and that is all that counts."
