Listen and Follow

The world today has ongoing lists of issues. Poverty, equality, racism, health care, welfare, war in Gaza, and economic crisis are just few examples of the problems. Economic recession specifically has been a big issue due to the loss of jobs.  For many, life is now tougher than it has ever been. The question then becomes do we have hope? Will our lives be any better ten years from now? To me, the answer is yes. Our future president Barack Obama will help solve these problems. This is not only the most historical election ever, but also many people's lives are in Obama’s hands in the next four years. In the election, Obama sent one clear message, change and hope. For this to happen, we as citizens must also be willing to change. The change might require sacrifice such as higher taxes, and most importantly, the support for the president and his decisions. George W. Bush’s eight years in the presidency were definitely not supportive and likable to the public. Many had arguments whether his or her decisions were right or wrong, and due to this, it caused corruption. Thus, let’s all learn our lessons and support our next president of the United States.
