Park City- The homecoming week festivities continue at both lunches with fun activities such as bobbing for apples. Students were dunking their heads in buckets and frantically pullling out apples in the middle of the lunchroom while a crowd of students cheered them on. "We were originally going to do onions and apples and if you managed to get the apple you got a prize." Said Mr. Morrison. "We were unable to do the onions so we settled for two different colored apples." Juniors Ben Hess and Micheal Fischer were both winners of this event, and both donuts for their victory.
Student council planned fun activities for the remainder of the week for both lunches. On Wednesday a guest singer performed in the lunchroom and rootbeer floats were served to bring attention to the float building after school. Today, UVU visited and ran food contests, such as pie eating and jello slurping. On Friday, there will be popcorn and students will be able to decorate their own cookie, bringing an end to homecoming week.
Juniors Maddie Bell and Kristen Albrecht, members of student council, will also be selling tickets for the homecoming dance all week during both lunches. These tickets are $25 for a single and 35$ for a couple so hurry and get yours!
