A Life in Hiding
Over six million jews died during World War II. Seven of those people survived for over two years in an annex in the heart of Amsterdam. Through the diary of a young girl named Anne Frank in that annex, we can see how hard it was for Jews to live in hiding during this time.
Artist of the Month
Senior Kalee Chester has recently been named March's artist of the month. She has been interested in art since elementary school. Chester says she was "always the girl in the back of the class doodling in her notebook."
Let them show off
"Often in New York and LA, actors will put together showcases and invite industry to see them perform. It gives the actors a chance to get their face and work out there and hopefully get an agent from it. This showcase is set up very much the same way," says Drama Teacher Nicole Madison.
Confessions of a Shopaholic
"Confessions of a Shopaholic" was a fun and enjoyable chick flick. It's the story of a young shopping fend named Rebecca Bloomwood, played by Isla Fisher. Fisher does an excellent job at playing the fashion crazed, ditzy dynamo. She has her own witty charm and spark that makes her perfect for the part.
Get Trapped with Coraline
From the Hugo-award winning novel, Coraline springs forth as a great animation featuring the voices of Dakota Fanning (Coraline), Teri Hatcher (Mother/Other Mother) and Jennifer Saunders (Miss Spink) among others.
