     Each year, The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences nominate works that are then eligible to win a Grammy. Those nominations are then reviewed by a group of over 150 experts from the recording industry, who determine which works are worthy of winning this prestigious award.

When I conducted a poll of my fellow students, something profound and frightening was unveiled. I found that while many students voted in this year's presidential election, even more had no clue on whom and what they were voting for.

Regardless of whether McCain or Obama wins the upcoming election, one thing is certain: America as a whole needs to come together in supporting our President. In dire times such as these, with a tolling war and a spiraling economy, America's unity needs to find cohesion.
